No. 1 Air Sovereignty Squadron
Provides airspace observation, liaison flying and the KAF’s immediate-response flight.
No. 2 Support Squadron
Operates transport, communications and ground-support functions.
No. 3 Training Flight
Provides initial aviation, leadership and unmanned-aircraft training.
How squadrons operate
Squadrons combine flying personnel with engineers, operations staff and logisticians. Flights may be formed temporarily for exercises or emergency tasks without changing the permanent squadron structure.
